Content Creation + Strategy
As a Behavioral Interventionist in the Pennington Diabetes Clinic, I created resources for clinic patients providing psychoeducation on sleep, nutrition, physical activity, and mental health. I tailored resources to patients based on their needs and interests, increasing patient satisfaction and providing clinicians with readily available learning materials. While delivering telehealth services in the clinic, I also distributed a weekly newsletter to patients along with short, encouraging messages to keep them engaged in the program and connected to our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tailoring to Audiences:
Social Media Ads and Videos
As a Program Coordinator, I strategized, created, and tailored content to specific audiences, particularly young people and the LGBTQ+ population.
Teen Well Check: As the leader of this project geared towards adolescents, I crafted short video messages/GIFs to convey information via social media and text that teens could easily digest, increasing 12-month retention by 33%.
5-7: For this suicide and alcohol use prevention program, I created social media ads and videos tailored to community members struggling with alcohol use (e.g., binge drinking) and suicidal thoughts.
I posted these ads to social media, learning how to reach target audiences and create eye-catching content to increase impressions and ultimately, enrollment in our studies. I learned to address sensitive topics, like suicide, sexual assault, and drug use, in a non-judgmental and empathetic way. Here are a few examples of video messages I created that were tailored to particular audiences.
